Before and After: Truvi Beauty & CO.

I have always designed beautiful spaces in my client’s homes. Whether it be a bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen etc. I was thrilled when I was approached by the owner of Truvi Beauty & Co. , Anna Damore who wanted “Marcy’s Touch” in her newly renovated salon.

Before:

I had never really designed a commercial space before but was excited to take on the challenge. After seeing the empty salon with the white walls and bamboo floors my brain immediately started to come up with ideas. I pictured nude pink trim, a dark accent wall and some sort of wall paper or mural. I remember expressing these ideas with Anna and she was a little bit hesitant at the beginning. I mean can you blame her, she was envisioning a light and bright space and there I am telling her that we should be painting everything.

After:

After creating vision boards and going into more detail with my vision we came up with a design plan that fit her budget and her needs.

I am SO happy that Anna trusted me with some of my crazy ideas. I am also so happy that her talented husband Tony (Builder, Willow Bridge Homes) did all of the carpentry and brought my quick sketches and ideas to life.

Now Anna has a salon that is a statement and has people in “awe” when they walk in. I remember telling her at our first consultation “Let’s be different and create a space that people don’t want to leave and feel inspired”.  I believe that we achieved just that.  My favorite part of the new Salon is the beautiful peony wall. These wall decals were from Urban Walls and they look hand painted!

I am so thrilled with the way everything turned out and it makes me feel amazing that Anna is in love with the end result!

Until next time,
Marcy xo
